Here's our most frequently asked questions about purchasing our software:


Can I install my Oscillicious software on more than one computer?

Each software application or plugin can be installed on up to 2 computers (PC or Mac), as long as it is only used on one at a time. For example, if you have a studio PC and a MacBook for the road, you may install the software on both.

If you'd like to install the software on more computers, we ask that you please purchase another copy. Each additional licensed purchase allows you to install it on another 2 computers and adds another user.

For classroom licensing and other installations with many computers, please contact [email protected] for bulk licensing details.


Will upgrades be free?

BeatCleaver and JamDeck:
Upgrades within the current major release (eg. all 1.x versions) will be free. All updates have been free so far and have included major feature enhancements to BeatCleaver like time-stretching.

If there's a "version 2" of these products in the future, a discount will be provided to existing customers, along with a free upgrade grace period if you purchase "version 1" close to the release date of version 2. We'll provide plenty of notice before any version 2 release though too.

SodaSynth and Analog Extracts (VST / AU Plug-ins):
All upgrades to these plugins will be free.


How does your digital delivery work?

Shortly after purchase, you will receive an email containing your registration information (name, email, serial number) and download links for the software you bought. You'll need to keep this registration information handy to activate the software after you install it.

Though most registration emails are instant, if you do not receive your key within 24 hours, please contact support.


What is your refund policy?

30 Day Money Back Guarantee

We offer a 30-day money back guarantee on all software purchased through our store. If our products don't work with your computer or you're not fully satisfied, we'll refund your full purchase price. This allows anyone to try the full version of our products risk-free.

Before a refund can be processed you will be required to run Oscillicious's license removal tool to "return" your software license to us. After a refund has been processed you will no longer be able to use the software.

Refunds cannot be issued after 30 days of purchase.

If purchasing through a 3rd party reseller, you are subject to the return policy of that vendor.


Which payment methods do you accept?

PayPal Visa MasterCard American Express

We accept PayPal and credit cards.

In certain regions, credit cards can only be used through PayPal.

Customers in the EU, UK, and Japan can pay by credit card via PayPal, which (usually) allows you to do so without signing up for a PayPal account.

Customers in the US and the rest of the world can pay via credit card directly on our site. (Visa, MasterCard, and American Express)


Do your VSTs work with my DAW? (eg. Ableton, Reaper)

Yes. Our plugins are tested with Ableton Live, GarageBand, Renoise, energyXT 2, and Reaper on Windows 7, Windows 8, and Mac OS X 10.6. We strive for the highest compatibility with all VST and AU hosts through vigorous testing and engineering.

If you find a VST host where our plugins don't work, please email us. We'll make it work.
